In April 1944 Jack Dunn and his
wife Winnie commissioned Mr Parosotto of Kempsey to design, build and fit a
crane with a 3 ton capacity to the Bliz prime mover at a cost of 400 pounds.
This crane was the FIRST MOBILE CRANE ON THE NORTH COAST.
J.H. DUNN MOBILE CRANES was
founded.
In 1973 Michael Dunn joined his
father, together they increased the size and capacity of the cranes.
The name was changed to J.H.
DUNN & SON MOBILE CRANES.
In 1975 Geraldine (Dunn) Yabsley
joined her father and brother in the family business.
On the 1st June 1981 the
partnership became a company

On the 22nd March, 1991, Jack
Dunn’s 80th Birthday, he loaded 2000 timber railway sleepers onto rail
wagons and then announced his retirement. |
